Kevin and Dawn Coughlan. The last email we received from Matt was sent in the middle of the last snowstorm we had and included this quote: "It's snowing still!" said Eeyore gloomily. "And freezing." "However," he said brightening up a little, "we haven't had an earthquake lately!" The email was signed as always "With love and laughter, Matt." This epitomizes Matt in our opinion, pragmatic, optimistic, always with Kathy bringing a smile to our faces. On a recent visit together to New Hope, a stranger stopped us and said how nice it was to see the four of us with smiles on our faces. We shall miss that love, we shall miss the laughter. What a gift his friendship was to us.
