When I think of Michael I always think of the personable boy and young man who was a delight to be around and who charmed all he met with his smile. As a teenager, how many hours he would spend, writing music and playing his guitar! He was so attentive to his maternal grandmother in her final years and I was impressed that it inspired him to become a respiratory therapist--and a good thing, for that is how he met beautiful, sweet and loving MaryAnn. How proud he was when his son was born! My heart goes out to them, MaryAnn and Patrick, who will feel his absence most keenly; to Larry and Susan, who shared his early years as his siblings, and to Agnes, for it is especially difficult to see the younger generations go before us. We will miss him always but know he is in the best of all possible worlds. His was a rough road to travel but he is home now.
