Sil was a friend from the first day of high school, a classmate at Santa Clara, and someone I visited with my wife on our honeymoon in 1960. I talked to him from time to time and will miss him terribly.

Mr. Lutkewitte was a loving, gracious gentleman who welcomed so many into his family. He and Walene were incredibly warm and accepting when I first visited Colts Neck and on through the years as he met my family from Virginia and welcomed our children on visits.
