Geraldine A. Mirando died August 8, 2012 surrounded by love with her family and best friends. She is survived by her brothers, Anthony and Sal, and sister, Donna Jo. Gerri was born September 25, 1951 in Greenwich, Connecticut. She was raised in Jersey City and graduated from Henry Snyder High School. She joins her parents, Joseph and Martha Mirando, in Heaven. Gerri's life was filled with memories of her family who she deeply treasured, sharing the many sports games and dance recitals of her nieces and nephews, Jay, Mikey, Nicole, Joseph and Robert – Aunt Gerri was always the first to arrive, and proudest person in the cheering section. She was kind, affectionate, genuine, happy, and truly a 'good egg'. Gerri was loving and dependable, and her support and love of her family and friends will be forever missed, but never forgotten. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday 9:15AM at St. Catharine's R.C.
