John Dennis Michael Carroll, 65, of Hazlet passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. Born in Newark, NJ, John lived in Hazlet and worked as a warehouseman for General Motors in Bensalem, PA. Mr. Carroll was an Army Veteran, a former Hazlet Youth Athletic League coach for baseball and basketball, an avid fisherman, and a motorcycle and car enthusiast. John was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Margaret Carroll and his sister Kathleen McCall. Surviving are his wife Frances, his sons John Carroll, and wife Danielle of Hazlet, Frank Carroll of Hazlet, his sister Patricia Brandt and her husband Fred of North Brunswick, and his two grandchildren Colin and Hayley Carroll. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday 9:30AM at Holy Family R.C. Church, 727 State Route 36, Union Beach. Entombment will be in the Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
