We met Nick at our children’s engagement and again at their wedding. We feel blessed to have known him and his wonderful family. He was so loved and admired by
Keri and Dom.... Dom was always so fond of him and both enjoyed spending time with all of them at their home.
It brings us such sadness knowing this incredible person is no longer with us, but we do know he will always live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Every memory we have of Nick is him being a wonderful father, husband, and friend. We will forever remember Nick in so many positive ways... with a big smile, an offer of support, and a great sense of humor. Nick was such strong man who fought so bravely over these past three years. He will never truly be gone, for Nick has left such a loving presence in the hearts of Joanie, Gabriella and Nicholas, as well as all of his extended family and friend’s hearts. Nick was caring, loving, encouraging, and most of all selfless. He had a way of brightening up a room. Many basketball games we sat together cheering on our sons as they played. Nick would be famous for yelling out a “way to be” !!!!!!
We would laugh so hard because by the end of the season we were all yelling out “Way to be”.
I will never forget last summer after traveling into NYC for a treatment Nick traveled back home to Marlboro to pick up our sons and travel back into NYC to take them to a Mets game. Although I’m sure he was drained and exhausted his response was I feel great. I can’t wait to go with the boys. To say he was a special person is an understatement. I have said it before and I’ll say it again my family and I are better people for knowing Nick and Joan. Nick we love u and know your in a better place now shining like you always did.

My memories of Nick date back to the 80's Farrell victory parties. Nick was always a soft spoken, kind, perfect gentleman. Many years passed before our paths crossed again at Willis where Nick welcomed me to the team with his warm smile & we continued to work together, after moving to Aon, for 21 years. Nick was not only just colleague, he was a true friend to the end & a family member to all of us. Nick worked very hard & was loved by all his clients & everyone who met him. What Nick loved most was his family & he couldn't have been prouder of his children & more devoted to his wife. He & Joanie clearly loved each other like no other! Over the past few years, Nick & I would get together for lunch every few months to catch up. We talked about work but most of all, we shared stories about our children &'reminisced about the past. Our lunches were truly enjoyable & I will miss them tremendously!

There is so much to say about this remarkable Humble man that I don't even know where to start. We fell in love with him, his beautiful wife and the kids the first day we met them. Our hearts are so heavy at this time. But God did not want our brother to suffer any longer so he brought him home. Nick is at peace now no more pain. Nick was The MOST generous, kindest, positive, genuine man you could ever meet. We were so fortunate to meet him & Joanie fourteen years ago. He was the person you always wanted to be around. Even during his hardest days he always asked how everyone else was. He stayed positive throughout his fight. We are going to miss his laugh, our dinners together, family celebrations but most of all his presence. He will forever live in our hearts. Forever friends.

Our hearts are so very heavy over the loss of Nick Berlingieri. We had the pleasure of meeting Nick through our son Dominick who began his career at AON right out of college. My son was lucky enough to work directly with Nick and be a part of his team. Nick took him under his wing and shared all his skills of being a great negotiator, to be determined, and never take No for an answer. He learned from the best. Dominick was blessed to have Nick in his life , not only as a great mentor, but as a most wonderful friend. What a roll model! We are forever greatful to Nick for all his love, kindness and expertise he showed our son. Meeting Nick in person along with his beautiful wife and children confirmed what a wonderful and charismatic person he truly was. Rest in peace Nick. You will never be forgotten. We met Joanie & Nick about 14 years ago. Spent time together with our children and friends.
I will always remember our time in Hershey Park celebrating New Years. I remember Nick would always say hello to my daughter, Presley by giving her a high-five and saying “hello Press”. She loved it. It made her feel special.

Where can we start, we met Nick when our children were only 3 months old. We have been close friends ever since, Our most memorable times were back yard bbqs that literally lasted all night. Long talks and laughs for hours and hours. Walks around the development and watching our kids graduate, nursery school, kindergarten and 8th grade together. He was our first Jersey friend, and will remain in our hearts forever. We love you and miss you already
