Ruth A. Pomarico, 85, of Holmdel passed away on Monday, September 3rd, 2018 at the Willows in Holmdel. Born in Lebanon, New York Mrs. Pomarico lived in Holmdel for 31 years before moving to St. Augustine in 1995, then to Georgetown Delaware in 2002, then returning to Holmdel in 2013. She was the manager of billing and insurance for various medical professionals in Monmouth and Ocean County. Mrs. Pomarico was a parishioner of the Church of St. Catharine in Holmdel for many years. She was a former member of The Cathedral of St. Augustine, St. Augustine,Fla and a former member of St. Michael the Archangel – Mary Mother of Peace, Georgetown, Del. She was a former organizer of many campaign functions for the Holmdel Republican Club, a member of the Columbiettes in Georgetown as well as fancying herself a member of the Red Hat Society. She was predeceased by her parents; her loving husband Vincent; and her beloved son, Ronald. She is survived by her children, Michael and his wife Mary of Holmdel, Nancy Gennusa and her husband Jason of Howell, Patricia Linsley and her husband Stephen of Jackson, James and his wife Kimberly of Manahawkin, a sister Florence Aversa and her husband Steve, and by eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, on Thursday, September 6th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of St. Catharine, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel, on Friday, September 7th at 10:15 AM. Interment will then follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J.
