John’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/awake-no3-2018-nov-dec/

Anyone that was friends with the Altomare kids (Lenny, Ro, Grace and Frannie) growing up in Middletown was lucky enough to be welcomed into the house in Oakhill by Mr. and Mrs. Altomare. I consider myself so lucky to have been a part of their extended family. Growing up was so much easier because you could always stop by, have a cup of coffee, smoke a few cigarettes at the kitchen table and have a chat. Mr. Altomare was a very loving and caring gentle giant. He will be missed deeply. Give Jo a hug from me! Until we meet at that kitchen table in the sky may you rest in peace.

Johnny Hoboken...we met under different circumstances but in the short amount of time I had the pleasure of coming across you and your family, you taught me so much. You had this way about you...indescribable. so generous and kind..loving to people you didnt even really know and cared so much for your children. I know you are happily reunited with your wife and are out of pain! You deserve that. Like you said to me the last day I seen you, you wanted to fly high and you are...my heart is broken for you guys but he is in a much better place..may you take along all the memories of happier times. I'll miss you Johnny and i know everyone else will too xoxo

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to family and friends. May all of your good memories be greater than your sadness during this difficult time. (Isaiah 25:8)
