Rita T. Anzalone, 86, formerly of Toms River, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 5th, 2018. Rita was born and raised in Brooklyn and attended Prospect Heights High School. She was an Executive Assistant with Lehman Brothers followed by Chase Manhattan, Dillon Read and Lipper & Company, L.P. Rita was a passionate and talented seamstress, an avid bowler, Lakeridge Choir member, Eucharistic minister, reader and cantor at St. Mary of the Lake, Lakewood, NJ. She accomplished the recognition of being in the top ten Tupperware salespersons in the United States. Rita had a deep devotion to her family, faith and grandchildren. Rita was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Andrew P., in October, 2014, her parents Raffaele & Teresa DeMarco and her siblings Victoria, John and Paddy. Surviving are her children, Frank & his wife Teresa, Ralph and Elaine; her grandchildren Francis, Christina, Andrew & Lucia and her sister Marie. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 7th 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, August 8th 9:15 am at Church of St. Catharine, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel. Entombment to follow in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro.
