Dear Steven, Danielle and Alexandria, I am devastated at the loss of your extraordinary wife/mother Allie. As a teammate for several years we would share news about our families and she spoke about each of you with such pride and love. We had fun on and off the tennis courts...I was so happy when she shared her Italian anise cookie recipe with me! I will always remember her sweet smile and gentle nature. Alexandra’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". To Allie’s family...her Dad George and my Dad Fred worked together for many years, both German immigrant bricklayers. Allie and I spent so much time together as little children! Our parents played cards and we just laughed and played as little girls do. I hope the many memories you have of your wife, Mom and friend comfort you in this difficult time.
