I wish to express my condolences to the entire Goddard Family. Bob was one of a kind and I enjoyed knowing him very much and leaned a lot from him, particularly vehicle extraction during my time on the Lincroft First Aid Squad. My memories of Lincroft will always be of the real men of the town , Andy Deltuvia, Herman Grillon, Jack Fowler, and of course Bob. The entire town owes you their gratitude and I salute you Bob from 2,000 mile away at the foot of the Rocky Mountains because people like Bob stand taller to me than those mountains outside. RIP

I was lucky to sit and talk to him in 2008 for 2 hours... Even thou he had trouble knowing who I was... He did remember a little... He and Helen were so proud of me having my own bodyshop... They would stop in a few times a year. I would stop over and Helen would make me a sandwich... I will always miss them.

Great funny uncle. I remember when he came to Houston and I drove him around to see the sites and then a tour of the Astrodome. He helped me install several doors for mom and her neighbors. I have several more doors that need installing. Also have a classic 1971 Cougar that I told him I wanted him to help me fix it up. Will miss him a lot. He was a much loved man.

I have so many fond memories of Uncle Bob. I used to babysit for the kids and would stay overnight many times. I even went on some ambulance calls with Uncle Bob. Uncle Bob and Aunt Helen were so much fun at our get togethers, always so happy and full of life. They visited us twice while we had our farm in NY, once just to see us and once to attend our oldest son's wedding. We always had such good times together. He will be sadly missed. I am so happy I got to spend some time with him this past summer. With Sincere Sympathy Love Tom & Carol

Anne and I were so sorry to hear of Uncle Bob's passing. I enjoyed our occasional breakfast trips to the shore over the last few years and was looking forward to seeing him again when we return from Florida this May. He did all the work to modify my 55 Pontiac convertible back in 1957 but when I took him for a ride in my currently restored duplicate 55, he said he didn't remember working on the original. But we had a great time cruising in it anyway. Always a pleasant visit with Uncle Bob who really enjoyed the time we spent. I'm sorry to say we will miss his services.

popop you were the best grandpa in the world, I remember we would go to 711 or wawa than go to the docks all the time. I loved that, popop you taught me so much, from how to write out checks to putting up dry wall and painting them. Ill remember everything forever, I also remember when you and nana had the pool nd I got the courage to go under water for my first time! The memories with you were priceless and ill never forget you popop. I'm going to miss you so much everyday. I love you popop, you and nana are my guardian angels

In conveying condolences, I must say Uncle Robert brought the best surprise to my father's 90th birthday, and some great times traveling with Helen and my parents. It is so hard to let go, but those memories will always be a part of us. To a life well lived, from a family of grateful hearts.
