Having the privilege of knowing Elaine during the formative years of Holmdel is a memory I cherish. It is with profound sadness I learned of her passing. Elaine's inspiring leadership was reflected in the enviable reputation of the town of Holmdel. Looking back on the high standards she espoused, I am reminded of the benefits we all enjoyed as associates of her outstanding integrity. With deep regret I offer my heartfelt condolences to Elaine's Family. I pray the many reminders of how she enriched the lives of so many will bring comfort and relief of sorrow; may her soul rest in peace.

We will always remember Mrs. Frey who was such an asset to our community and always got our children to school safely. She was such an important part of our community in Holmdel in the 70's and 80's. She will be missed!

Mrs. Frey was Holmdel's greatest Community Leader. Mrs. Frey was very dedicated to the students of Holmdel High School. A modest, down to earth elected Leader. From Bus driver to Town Committee to Mayor. You will never see that again. Mrs Frey was one of a kind . Thank you Mrs Frey for your service to Town of Holmdel and your contribution to hundreds of students showing us how to be a Community Leader.

Dear family of Elaine Frey,I met Elaine as a resident of Brighton Gardens in Greensboro NC. I brought her Holy Communion from St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and we prayed the rosary together on Friday's.She was an angel and everyone loved her.I will miss her sweet smile and being with her. Aunt Elaine was such a strong woman, she really stood out in crowd and made her presence felt. Her energy and enthusiasm for life were transparent in the way she lived and loved.
