I am saddened to learn of Arnold's passing but so fortunate to have known him. His ready wit and smile, kindness and warmth, no one could forget. Both Arnold and Mary Ann were very nearly a part of the family. Their names would come up often over more years than I can remember. Many stories of travels together with my parents and other festivities, and I especially recall the enthusiasm that surrounded the inception of the Holland America Club. God bless and keep you Arnold, and may the Lord offer comfort and strength to your family and loved ones. Sincerely,

So very sorry to hear of Arnold's passing. I worked for Arnold at Continental Tire from 1984 until his retirement in the mid 1990's. We shared a Dutch heritage and I still treasure the Delft dishes he brought back to me from Holland after each trip. I also treasure my little piece of the Berlin wall he gave me after a trip there. After a Continental marketing meeting in Germany, I have fond memories of Arnold taking me site seeing in Holland to his and my family towns and then spending time with MaryAnn at their place in Zeewolde. I was honored to proof his life story, a copy of which sits in my office. His life's work at Continental Tire still goes on to this day. Arnold was a kind and gentle man and will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family at this time.

I want to send my prayers to your family. The bible tells us that god will unite us with our loved ones again, best of all, sickness and death, gone. May god be with you.
