Obituary of Anna Finelli

Anna Finelli, 97, of Brick passed away at home on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, NY Anna lived and raised her family there prior to moving to Brick, NJ in 1984. She worked as a Welfare Processor for the City of New York working in Brooklyn, NY. Mrs. Finelli was a parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church in Brooklyn, NY and St. Dominic R.C. Church in Brick, NJ. Anna loved Atlantic City, the boardwalk, going on trips and driving, concerts, Bocci, cooking, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Finelli was predeceased by her husband Michael Finelli in 1970 and her sister Mary Cappiello. Surviving are her son Len Finelli and his wife Ursula, and her grandchildren Eric and Danielle Finelli. Visitation will be held Friday from 3:00 to 6:00PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday 9:30AM at St. Mary R.C. Church 1 Phalanx Road, Colts Neck. Entombment will be in St. Gabriel Cemetery, Marlboro. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mrs. Finelli's name to the Alzheimer Association 400 Morris Ave, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
