Obituary of Theodore J. Scholtz

Retired, Sales Norfolk Southern Railroad Theodore J. Scholtz, 84, of Colts Neck, NJ died at home on Monday, March 2.Mr. Scholtz had been a Sales Manager with Norfolk Southern Railroad, NYC, retiring in 1985. He was an Army veteran of WW II. Ted was an avid and award-winning tennis player during his retirement years at the Elcon Tennis Club, Bradenton, Fla. where he was known as 'Top Banana'. He was born in New York City and lived in Bradenton, Fla, moving to Colts Neck six years ago. He was predeceased by two sisters: Mary Rose and Catherine Scott and a granddaughter, Katie C. Andryca. Surviving are his wife, Ann, two sons: Theodore J. Scholtz, Jr., Chesterfield, Mo., George G. Scholtz, Tinton Falls, NJ, two daughters: Kathyann Scholtz, Hudson, Ma., Marybeth Andryca, Colts Neck, NJ, two sisters: Theresa Rizzo, Helen Stella and three grandchildren: Michael Andryca, Samantha Scholtz and George Scholtz.
