Evelyn Schweitzer, 97, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Seabrook Village, Tinton Falls. Evelyn was born in New York City on October 11, 1917. She was a member of the Colts Neck Reformed Church since 1961, where she also worked as a secretary. Mrs. Schweitzer was predeceased by her loving husband of 71 years, Julius in 2010. Surviving are her children Edward Schweitzer and his wife Janet of Marlboro, Philip Schweitzer, and his wife Bernice of Colts Neck, and Diane Cook, and her husband Donald of Fredericksburg, VA, her grandchildren Deborah, Kim, Donna, Joel, Joann, and Brian, her great grandchildren Michael, Christina, Ryan, Rebecca, Garrett, Sarah, Laura, Kyle, and Krystal, and her great great grandchildren Christopher and Claire. Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A funeral service will be offered in the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00AM.
