Camille Marie Gerbig 94, of Colts Neck passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. Born in Jersey City, Camille lived in Lincroft prior to moving to Colts Neck 49 years ago. Mrs. Gerbig was the co-owner with her husband Albert of Marie-Eugenie Chocolates in Red Bank for 32 years, retiring in 1983. Camille was a parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Colts Neck, and also belonged to the Third Order of St. Francis at St. Anthony's R.C. Church in Red Bank. She was predeceased by her husband Albert W. Gerbig in 1991, two brothers, Carl and John D'Aiuto, three sisters, Rose Marone, Marie Manascalco, and Dottie Ippolito. Surviving is her son Albert W. Gerbig, and his wife Patricia, and granddaughter Christine Hoen. Visitation will be held Friday 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday 9:00AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Colts Neck. Entombment will be in the Holmdel Cemetery.
