William L. Konrad, 86, of Morganville passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. Born in Jersey City, William worked as a Mason for the Laborer's International Union of North America in Newark. Mr. Konrad was an Army Veteran. He was an avid deer hunter, loved to play the guitar and enjoyed watching games shows and the Lawrence Welk Show, and doing his daily Suduko puzzle. Mr. Konrad was predeceased by his wife Lee C. Konrad in 2013, his sister Marjorie Adler, and by his brothers Louis and Arthur Konrad. Surviving are his daughter Karin Lee Konrad of Morganville, his sister Gloria Ringwald, several nieces and nephews, and his dog Nicholas Arthur. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A funeral service will be offered in the funeral home on Friday at 11:00AM. Interment will be in the Old Brick Reformed Church Cemetery, Marlboro. In lieu of flowers, please make donation in his name to the Old Brick Reformed Church 490 Route 520, Marlboro, NJ 07746.
