I am saddened to learn of Pete's passing. I shared a room with him at Bell Labs and I found him to be a humorous, sensitive and intelligent man. His devotion to his family and his music as well as his technical work was admirable. The world has lost a wonderul, kind hearted man. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for your dad. Please accept my sincere condolences. He was a really good man.

I was saddened to see the news about Pete. I worked with him back in 1983 at CSO (the original name for Bellcore/Telcordia). He was a great mentor, both technically and personally. My husband, Fred Imbrogno, and I always remember him and speak about him because he gave us great advice on our first home purchase. "Don't buy anything but a center-hall Colonial with a 2-car garage." If it wasn't for Pete, we might have ended up in a contemporary home that we probably would have gotten tired of. I also remember seeing him at Monmouth Park System events, playing fun music to accompany horseback riding or other activities. He will live on in people's memories.

Sorry to hear about Pete's passing. I had a great time playing flute with him at Walnford several years ago. I'm still impressed that he constructed his own harpsichord - it sounded great!

All of us at ALHFAM are greatly saddened to hear of Pete's passing. His cheerfulness, wonderful music abilities and historical knowledge will be much missed. I will miss the impromptu sing-alongs! And he paid me a wonderful compliment - saying that a Paper I gave on the Acadian exiles was the best he had ever heard. He was always giving that kind of positive reinforcement to people. Wish there were more like him. Alas!

We were neighbors for many years on Marcshire Drive and we were members of the Social Justice Committee for many years also. We have many fond memories from picnics and SJ meetings. We will miss you at St. Catharine's.

We will miss knowing that Pete is about playing his historical tavern songs and giving pleasure to his audience. He was a great guy and we enjoyed seeing him at ALHFAM conferences. He was a unique blend of future thought and old time fun. Instead of a harp he will have a fiddle in heaven.

I had the pleasure of meeting your Mom and Dad on many occasions at the Association for Living History, Farm and Agricultural Museums annual conferences. Your Dad was always engaging, quizzical and full of enthusiasm about the past. He will be missed.

I am sorry for your loss. My beloved grandmother passed two (02) years ago this September 2014. Over time the pain of her passing has eased, although I miss her advice & friendship even today. I share this with you, so you will know, with time your grief will not be so intense & it will be easier to go about day to day life.

Many of us in the Association for Living History, Farm and Agricultural Museums knew and enjoyed the company of Pete and Cathy. They are both missed. Pete brought excitement and energy about music and all things historical. Cathy kept Pete on an even keel and thoroughly enjoyed historical activities and living history colleagues, too. Rest in Peace to both. Many fond memories from your ALHFAMily.
