Julia Mendolla Rienzo, 95, of Greenacres, Fla., formerly of Jersey City, N.J. passed away at home on Thursday, October 23rd, 2014. Julia was predeceased by her first husband Rocco (Bob) Mendolla, her second husband Peter Rienzo, her daughter Carol Ann Brennan, a son Cosimo Mendolla, and by four brothers and three sisters. Julia is survived by her partner Alfonso Demasi, two sons Anthony Mendolla and his wife Carmela, Cosmo Mendolla and Anntoinette, MaryLou Inzinna and her partner Bruce Boesendahl, and Nancy Ulrich, eight grandchildren, Jeannemarie, Toni Ann, Julianne, Lauren Ashley, Dennis, Sheri Lyn, Danielle, and Jennifer, and nine great grandchildren Makenzie, Gus Jr, Cory, Brianna, Brendan, Amanda, Nicholas, Jordan, and Patrick. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Julia was a long term member and Queen Mother of the Pinettes Red Hat Society of Greenacres, FL. Visitation will be on Tuesday October 28th from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 – South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday October 29th at 9:15 A.M. at St. Catharine's R.C. Church, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel. Interment will then follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Donations in Julia's name may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN. 38143
