Ruth Ridgway, formerly of Holmdel passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013. She was born in Bellmore, NY and lived in Brooklyn, NY prior to moving to New Jersey. Mrs. Ridgway worked as an Executive Assistant for Golding Industries in New York, NY. She was a parishioner of St. Catharine's R.C. Church in Holmdel where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Baptismal team. Ruth was a member of the Holmdel Newcomers Club and loved gardening, knitting, and crocheting. She was an active volunteer, especially with Meals On Wheels and at Riverview Medical Center. She was predeceased by her brother Vincent Creo, and daughter-in-law, Nadeane. Survived by her daughter April Langer, her husband John , sons Gary, Thomas, Edward his wife Debbie, Kevin his wife Palma, and Paul Ridgway, 11 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday 9:00AM at St. Leo the Great R.C.
