Obituary of Gloria Imperiale
Gloria Imperiale, 85, of Lincroft, passed away on Tuesday, December 27th at the Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. She lived in Brooklyn, N.Y. before moving to Lincroft, NJ 10 years ago. Mrs. Imperiale was a parishioner of St. Leo the Great R.C. Church in Lincroft, and was a member of the St. Anne Guild. In Brooklyn, she was a parishioner of St. Athanasius R.C. Church, and was a member of the St. Athanasius Rosarians for many years. She was predeceased by her husband James in 1978, by three brothers Anthony, Joseph, and John Principe, and by her sisters Florence Petelin and Julia Ciampaglione. She is survived by her sons Angelo and his wife Kathleen, and James and his wife Tracy, by her daughters Angela Joyce, Elvira Imperiale – Wilson and her husband Norris, Mary Ann and her husband Louis Piro, by her 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, and by her sisters Millie Torre, Theresa Costeldo, and Anna Shaffery. Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ on Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 9:00AM at St. Leo the Great R.C.Church, 50 – Hurleys Lane, Lincroft, NJ. Donations in her name may be made to St. Athanasius Church Tuition Fund, 2154 – 61st Steeet, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11204.
