Obituary of James B. English
U.S. Navy Veteran - Korean War JAMES B. ENGLISH, 78, of McAFEE, N.J., passed away on Wednesday July 7th at the Bayside Manor in Keansburg. Born in Paterson, N.J. he served his country in the U.S.Navy during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement in 1995, Mr. English was a Traffic and Safety Director in the trucking industry for 40 years, He loved to cruise and travel . His favorite place was Hawaii. Mr. English was predeceased by his wife Bette English in May 2010. He is survived by his daughters Maureen Loebs and her husband Michael of Toms River, and Kathleen Stroz and her husband Ronald of Colts Neck, his granddaughter Kayla Stroz, and by his brother Bill English of Wayne, NJ. Visitation will be on Friday July 9th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel NJ. A Funeral mass will be offered on Saturday July 10th at 9:00 A.M. at St. Marys' R.C. Church, Highway 34 at Phalanx Road, Colts Neck. A private Interment will be at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, N.J.
