Donna Chambers Colaner, beloved mother, sister, daughter, and wife, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Donna was born in Red Bank and resided with her family in Howell. Donna graduated from Matawan Regional High School and received her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Delaware. Mrs Colaner taught Elementary School for the Hazlet Board of Education, and also coached a Championship Softball Team. Surviving are her husband, Michael Colaner, her 2 sons, Nicholas and Cameron, parents Richard and Barbara Chambers, 2 sisters, Karen Gebbie, and her husband Scott, and Laura Chambers, aunt Cris McNab, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Friday 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Funeral Service will be offered Saturday 11:00AM at the Holmdel Community Church, 40 Main Street, Holmdel.
