Rose (DiNardo) Christopher, 82, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011 at Bayside Manor, Keansburg, NJ. Born in Jersey City on Nov. 1, 1928, the daughter of the late Mary (Calandriello) & Thomas DiNardo, she moved to Middletown, NJ 14 years ago. She was a secretary for the Hudson County Vocational School, Jersey City for 25 years. She retired in 2004. Beloved wife of the late Sam Christopher. Devoted mother of Annette Pica & her husband Gerard, Mary Marzigliano & her husband Barry & Sam Christopher & his wife Denise. Loving grandmother of Darrah Pica Sunby & her husband, Duane, Jr., Monique Pica, Michael & Brianna Marzigliano, Sammy & Hannah Christopher. & great grandmother of Jake Sunby. Pre-deceased by 9 siblings, she is the dear sister of Lucille (LuLu) Falco & her husband Frank (Jackie), Christine (Nella) DeBello & her husband Nicholas & Rosemarie Walsh. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Visitation is Fri. 4-8pm at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Rd. Holmdel, NJ. Everyone will meet at St. Leo's Church, Lincroft, NJ on Sat. Sept. 3, 2011 for a 9:30am Mass. The family will be at the church at 9am with Rose's casket present. There will be no viewing at the funeral home or the Church on Sat. morning.
