I have great memories of a lovely lady who I first met almost 40 years ago through my friendship with Susan. Lois, together with Joe, welcomed me and my daughter Nicola into their home many times and I was deighted when they both came over to England to celebrate Nicola's wedding to Lee. I will remember her sense of humour, her quick wit and her kindness and friendship. When we waved farewell to each other such a short time ago I never imagined it would be for the last time and I am sorry I can't be in Colts Neck for you and the family today. To me you will always be regarded as a wonderful welcoming friend and Nicola's 'American grandmother'. I am sorry you did not get to meet Daisy, her 7 month old daughter, but I am pleased you managed to have some 'facetime' with them both two weeks ago. RIP Lois, I will miss you.
