Obituary of Anna M. Schardt
Mrs. Anna M. Schardt, 87, of Holmdel passed away on Tuesday morning, April 29th, 2014. Born in Baltimore, MD, she lived in Woodbridge before moving to Holmdel 58 years ago. She was a homemaker and loved being with family and friends. She was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband William J. Schardt Jr., their two infant children, by a brother Billy Covert, and by three sisters Annabelle Souder, Marie Zelick, and Betty Armstrong. She is survived by her loving son William J. Schardt III and his wife Geri of Holmdel, her loving daughter Judy and her husband R.L. Turner of Shelbyville, KY, five grandchildren Holly Schardt and her fiancé Reed Ulmer of Bricktown, Kirsten Schardt of Holmdel, Randy, Johnny, and Patrick Turner of Hanover, PA, by great grandchildren, and by a brother Amos Covert of Holiday, FL. Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel on Sunday May 4, 2014 from 1 to 5 PM. A funeral service will be offered at the funeral home on Monday at 11:45 A.M. Interment will then follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
