Angela E. Cavallaro 97, of Holmdel died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in Plainsboro. Born in Jersey City, Angela lived in Holmdel for 58 years. Angela was a loving and caring mother dedicated to her family. As a lifelong parishioner of St. Catharine's R.C. Church, Holmdel, she was one of the first Eucharistic Ministers and founding member of the Rosary-Altar Society. Angela was devoted to St. Joseph and loved to sing in the Choir. Mrs. Cavallaro was predeceased by her husband Salvatore in 1989. Surviving is her son Dominic J. Cavallaro his wife Lisa of Newport Beach, CA, and daughter Mary Ann Cavallaro of Princeton, NJ. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday 9:15AM at St. Catharine's R.C. Church, Holmdel. Interment will be in St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Marlboro. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mrs. Cavallaro's name to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, C/O St. Catharine's R.C.
