Catherine Valentino 102, of Holmdel passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Jersey Shore Center in Eatontown. Catherine was born in Sloatsburg, NY and lived in Wantagh, NY prior to moving to Holmdel 25 years ago. Mrs. Valentino was a homemaker and parishioner of St. Catharine's R.C. Church in Holmdel were she belonged to the 50+ Club and the Holmdel Half Century Club. She was predeceased by her husband Vincent Valentino in 1978, her sister Mary Castello, and brothers Frank and Stephen Colucci. Surviving are her son Paul Valentino and his wife Vera, and daughter Diane Romagnoli and her husband Nick, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday 10:45AM at St. Raphael's R.C. Church, East Meadow, NY. Burial will be in the Cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury, NY.
