I was so honored to have known Larry. So happy to have hugged him and thank him at the show in NYC. We had never met. We always spoke on the phone. Larry was always available. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Garmany, about two years ago, when he took the time to speak to me about his store and career. At the time, I was contemplating a move from Saks Fifth Avenue and looking into local options in Monmouth County. I truly enjoyed our conversation and the opportunity to spend time with him, understanding the specialty retail market. His kindness and genuine passion for his career was certainly contagious and admired.
