I will always remember the first time I met Grace and stayed at her home for Christmas when I was engaged to her nephew, Bob Evans. She made me feel so welcomed and as if I was already a member of the extended family. She continued to have a special place in my heart. My deepest condolences to Mickey, Bob, Muff, Brian and Marty as it is always hard to lose your mother. I am sure she is smiling down on you all.

The world is a nicer happier place because of a special person. Her name is Grace Schenck Brady . I had the honor of knowing her and was blessed with her as part of my family. I had the distinction of being one of her Godchildren. She taught me many things that I will never forget. She has given me so many GREAT memories to cherish espcially the ones at her home in Hazlet where she took my sister and I in for 2 weeks every other summer. They were my only vacations ever as a child.I was always very close to her and her family. She will always have a very SPECIAL place in my heart forever!I know she is in heaven and out of pain. That is a blessing, but my heart aches with sorrow for I will miss her as so many others will miss her.I thank God for lending us such a Great Lady and I pray she will be watching over us.I KNOW she is in heaven and I hope To see her again someday.I also pray for God's comfort to help all her family and friends through these sad times of missing her.

My aunt Grace was the first person to see me in this world as she assisted at my delivery. I am sorry not to be able to attend the upcoming services which celebrate her life. No one I know led a better and fuller life. - Bobby Evans

I ran across this beautiful poem and wanted to share it with all her friends and loved ones: "You can shed tears that she is gone, or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all she's left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see her, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her only that she is gone, or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back. Or you can do what she'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on." David Harkin (Bristish Poet)

My memories of Aunt Grace are those of smiles, fun and laughter. She seemed to always be happy and full of positive energy. I remember her fondly as one of the warmest and engaging persons I knew. I will cherish the time I had with her and pray for comfort to so many that are hurting right now.

I am sorry that I was not able to spend more time with my Aunt Grace. She was my Birthday buddie for 33 years. I consider myself blessed that I was able to know her and be apart of the family. I look forward to seeing her again.

Aunt Grace was the warmest, most wonderful aunt that anyone could ever have. Luckily she was mine! I will always be grateful for her open arms to my brother, Bob, and me. Her passing is not just a loss to her family, it is a loss to the community and to the world that so desperately needs happy, bright lights like her. I know she is happily dancing with the angels and picking flowers with the cherubs, and I also know that she'll welcome us once again with open arms when our time comes to join her. Until that time, I ask that God bless each of us as we continue our journey without her.
