Dearest Jimmy , Though time has come and gone since our last visit, I will always cherish the years that we spent growing up together. Forever will I remember the most meaningful of times and when we shared our ridiculous stories of simpler days. You did well my dear friend as you made a positive difference in so many lives. Safe travels. Meet you at the handball court the next time. Love, Jim "Bush" DeSalvo

Boss, It's been five days already and I am still in stunned disbelief. I keep thinking that this is a cruel joke and that you are going to tell Sally boy to setup another golf date for the boys. You were one of kind Jim. You touched a lot of people's lives and people loved you. You had a special way about you which made people feel at ease and comfortable. It's very difficult to think of this world without you. I do know one thing however, that your legacy will be one filled with accolades and superlatives. You touched us all boss, and we will always try and live up to your standards of right and wrong and in loving life. I hope and pray that your family will take solace in all of the kind words and memories of you that people had. You were a special man, a great father and husband. Continue to watch over them as you have for all of these years and guide them in seeking inner peace and comfort. Respectfully your friend, Mikey

I can't help but fondly remember the fun we had as kids, the Major boys, with Pat and me. Boy did we cause some havoc. We always had a laugh, too bad our parents didn't. God bless you cousin Jimmy

We will miss you Jim. You were my classic example of a true leader. The reigns of leadership rested easily and confidently in your hands and You always led by example; Out front; And placed the welfare of your employees first, above all else. You will be sorely missed by them. My deepest heartfelt sympathy go out to the Major Family. You are all suffering a grievous loss and may the Lord sheperd you all through this difficult time.

To the Major family God has called one of his Angels home. I was shocked and at the lost for words when I heard about the death of Jim. He was my Director, and was never too busy to listen and offer advice when I needed it. That is one of the things I am going to miss about him. My prayers and thoughts are with you. I know that God will give you the strength to get through these tough times.
