Obituary of Albert K. Sellitti
Albert K. Sellitti, 82, passed away Monday, January 16th. Born in Jersey City, Albert was a lifetime resident of Staten Island. He was a firefighter with New York Fire Department, Engine 10, Ladder 10 for 33 years. An avid golfer, Albert was also a diehard Rangers and Giants fan. He was a troop leader for the Boys Scouts and Eagle Scouts. Albert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was predeceased by his wife, Mickey, in 1988, his sister Gail Sellitti, his grandson Nicholas Accardi and his son-in-law Harvey Frankel. Surviving are his son Albert Sellitti, Jr. and his wife Erin, Hazlet; his daughters Joy Papaioannou and her husband John, Colts Neck, Robin Esposito and her husband John, GA, Karen Frankel, Morganville, Linda Accardi, Manalapan and Kim Gardner and her husband Timothy, Staten Island; his brother Gerald Sellitti and his wife Janet, PA; his sister Virginia Sellitti, Staten Island, 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and his long time companion Lorraine Casteel. Visitation Wednesday January 18th 4:00-8:00 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, January 19th 10:30 am at St. Mary RC Church, 1 Phalanx Road, Colts Neck. Burial St. Peters Cemetery, Staten Island.
