I tried to reach Joan today; I have often thought of Joan and Frank this past year. I worked with Frank for many years; and after retirement had the pleasure of lunching with Frank and Joan at least once a year. I miss such lovely warm kind friends. My best to all of you.

I have heard from other Friends of the Library members that Joan was a 1 woman show when it came to the Friends' Used Book Sale. I was sorry to hear of her passing. Deepest sympathies to the family.

Joan and Frank were such a special couple, it's hard to believe they are both gone. I'm sorry my husband and I will be away this week, or we would surely come to pay our respects. The Friends of the CN Library and the CN Seniors will miss Joan.
