Obituary of Marilou Kaye
Marilou Kaye of Colts Neck, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Wyoming Valley, PA she graduated cum laude from Wyoming Seminary Prep School in Kingston, PA and Penn State University. She was employed as a caseworker for child welfare in Montrose, PA and later was a teacher and librarian at River Street School in Red Bank, NJ. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Colts Neck. Her happiest moments were spent in the company of her family. She dearly loved her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years Bob Kaye in 2010, her parents Stanley and Alice Croop, a sister Alys Jane Farrell, a brother James Croop, and a dearly beloved aunt Edna Hoover. She is survived by her beloved children Joalice and her husband Matthew Smyth, Robert and his wife Dawn Kaye, Stephen and his wife Lauren Kaye, and Stanley Kaye. She sadly leaves her 6 much cherished grandchildren Paige and Alex Smyth, Dalton, Garrett, Alexia, and Violet Kaye. Visitation will held Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday 9:00AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Colts Neck. Entombment will be in the Holmdel Cemetery. If so desired, contributions may be made to the ARC of Somerset County 141 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 or to the charity of ones choice.
