God Bless you Uncle Gus. I have many memories visiting you and Aunt Vinny in Brooklyn. I cherish the pictures of you, Aunt Vinny and the rest of the Monteleone's at our New Years party back in '69 or '70. Gus was my Uncle, Godfather and dear friend. Many years ago we worked together(he gave me my first job) I cherish more than 60 years of wonderful fond memories; too numberous to write here. He will always be with me just as he has always been in my heart. God will be pleased to welcome him back home.

Someone once said that “the character and qualities of an individual can most often be observed through the person's family”. While I did not have the privilege of knowing Gus, I do know that he leaves behind a wonderful legacy. I know through his Granddaughter, that he was a man of great integrity, caring & compassion and that he treasured his family. May he be reunited with his beloved wife, Virginia and may they both rest in peace.
