Lucy Palladino, 68, of Colts Neck, formerly of Jersey City passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012 at her daughters home in Freehold. Born in Jersey City, Lucy moved to Colts Neck in 1979. Mrs. Palladino graduated from St. Peter's College in Jersey City, and began her career as an elementary school teacher in Jersey City. She was later employed with the Freehold Regional School District. Lucy loved to cook for her family and friends. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She was predeceased by her Husband Antonio Palladino in 2010, two brothers, Anthony and Joseph, and a sister Christine. Surviving are her two daughters, Emilia Durkin and her husband Frank, and Maria Mager, and her companion Spencer Page, three grandchildren, Frank, Julia, and Anthony, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday 9:00AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Colts Neck. Entombment will be in the Holmdel Cemetery.
