I remember all of the happy times we shared together with our families in Cartaret, Lavalette and at our house. I can still picture Uncle Dick in his favorite chair in the living room. I hope your memories of your dad give you comfort.

I will always remember Grampy Mancini as a happy, generous, gentle and kind man. He was fun to listen to and I especially enjoyed his stories about his childhood and Marine band days. I'm glad my children were able know him as their loving grandfather. He was always interested in and supportive of their various music lessons, for which I am grateful. I also value and try to remember the advice he gave to us when we married-to remember that words can hurt. More recently he would remind us of what his father used to say in Italian, "I love you all equally." May he rest in peace.

For you Rich...Thank You for all the great memories and lessons of love and forgiveness for all. Your life has been an inspiration to all those you have touched throughout the years..you achieved this through your faith in God and your fellow man. Thank you for being such a wonderful father-figure to my younger brother Joe... and to Peter and his family...it was through your guidance and direction for both of your families that they achieved their many successes...if ever there was a man who truly walked with God...it was you!...Until we meet again my friend, and as my Irish mother used to say..."May God keep you in the Palm of His hand"....Love to Phyllis...she's waiting...Love, Maureen & family

Our deepest sympathy to the family of Richard Mancini, especially our dearest friends of 30 years, Rich and Jane and their son, Richie. He Is Gone, by David Harkins You can shed tears that he is gone, Or you can smile because he lived, You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back, Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him Or you can be full of the love that you shared, You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he is gone Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on, You can cry and close your mind be empty and turn your back, Or you can do what he would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on. With Sympathy, Karen and Kostas Skruodys

My deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to the Mancini family during this most difficult time in the loss of your father, grandfather. He was so fortunate to have such a wonderful family around him. He was also extremely blessed to be able to enjoy a long and healthy life. In his final years, his vision deteriorated as he was unable to appreciate this important sense. Here is a very appropriate quote from Hellen Keller, “Death is no more than passing from one room into another. But there's a difference for me, you know. Because in that other room I shall be able to see.” We can only hope! May God bless you and comfort you in this most sorrowful time of your lives!
