Rosalie Esposito Longobardo entered the Lord's Kingdom on Monday, April 9, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 63. Born in Atripalda Italy, Rosalie came to the USA in 1968 and settled in Newark, NJ, later relocating to Middletown, NJ in August 1998. Rosalie was a career hairdresser, homemaker, and a master seamstress. She was also a phenomenal cook and loved to be outdoors, either walking on the beach or tending to her flower garden. She was loved and will be sorely missed. Rosalie had a knack for making just about anyone smile. She was a very loving and accepting person who had an infectious smile and whose presence was notable upon entering a room. She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Anthony Longobardo; four children, Frank Longobardo, Sal Longobardo, Nella Tierney, and Angelina Minger; six grandchildren; sister, Angela Magro; and her loyal companion, Bella. Funeral services will begin with a prayer at 9:30 AM on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ 07733 (732) 946-3322 followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Chapel, 26 Leonardville Middletown. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visitation on Friday, April 13, 2012 from 5 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
