Ann and family - It was great to see you all at the wedding the weekend before Ed's passing. It was very good to visit with Ed one last time before we left. We will always remember him as a loving husband and father, and a great friend. He fought a courageous fight against his sickness for a long time - but that was Ed. Uncle Eddie I am going to miss you dearly. I will never forget all of our family gatherings during Christmas and 4th of July. There was always so much fun and laughter. I had the pleasure of working with Mr.Schneider while he managed the East Brunswick Shoprite. He ran a tight ship but he never stopped believing in me and for that I will always be grateful. He was an amazing man with unbelievable strength and determination. He always managed to keep things going even at the most difficult time in his life. Uncle Ed....I will always remember your dry sense of humor and unending patience with all of us children growing up. I loved to go into your big pantry and pick out a box of cookies to take home after we visited. It seems like yesterday when we would all be at Grandma Curry's for the 4th of July, or at Uncle Buzzie's for the big Christmas Eve shindig! I always felt like you and dad looked like brothers....I pray you are both catching up together in Heaven. I had the honor to work with Ed for 4 years, he was my mentor and a father figure. He was the one that believed in me and helped me develop into a better Manager, will always be thankful for that and will remember him everyday at work.
