SASSO (Moe), 90, of Ormand Beach, Florida passed away at home on Wednesday November 5th. He was the former proprietor of Lams Office Furniture, Hazlet NJ for 35 years, retiring in 1988. Mr. Sasso served his country in the U.S.Navy , as a Chief Petty officer during World War II, in the Pacific Theatre of operation. He was a member of the Navy League, the American Legion, and a former member of the Holmdel Kiwanis Club, Holmdel Mens Bowling League, and the Forked River Yacht Club. Mr. Sasso was born in Newark, NJ, and lived in Holmdel and Forked River before moving to Florida 5 years ago. He was predeceased by his brother William, and two sisters Fay Gatto, and Genevieve Longo. Surviving are his wife Marion, three sons and their wives Leonard and Nancy of Holmdel NJ, Anthony and Ann of Colts Neck, NJ, and Morris and Brenda of Freehold NJ, three daughters Jacqueline Belloni and Diana Potts both of Duluth, GA., Rosemarie and her husband Robert Budnick of Brick, NJ., two brothers Armand and Raymond Sasso, two sisters Viola and her husband Tony Greco, and Edith Krier. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
