I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Charlotte. We met on the China trip and walked the Great Wall together. From there the following year we traveled to Africa and experienced the Safari. Our friendship continued all these years. She was a special friend and will be sorely missed. I lost my husband on August 5th and he too always told me Char sent the best emails.

We enjoyed our visits with Charlotte when she would visit her Aunt Myrl in Kentucky & also the one time when Aunt Myrl was visiting us in New Jersey, we took Myrl to visit Charlotte at her home in Holmdel. Charlotte was a beautiful person & she will be greatly missed by all.

we are so grateful that we had the opportunity to be a small part of Char's life for so many years. We will not be sad that it is over but rather smile because it happened.Char once shared her thoughts of death with a poem by Henry Scott Holland. "Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away into the next room-I am just waiting for you, for an interval,somewhere very near,just around the corner. ALL IS WELL.
