David C. Winters 65, of Matawan passed away Thursday at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. Born in Queens, NY David lived in the Princess Bay section of Staten Island for 21 years prior to moving to Matawan, NJ in 1993. Mr. Winters worked as a self employed Architect in Matawan, and won the Chamber of Commerce Award for Architecture Design in Staten Island, NY. David was a Cub Scout Leader, Little League Coach, member of the Matawan Rotary, and member and Past President of A.I.A in Staten Island, NY. Surviving are his wife of 38 years Tina Winters, 3 sons, Andrew Winters and his wife Gia, Robert Winters, and Jeffrey Winters and his wife Gina, brother Robert Winters, 2 sisters Helene Calvanico, and his twin sister Diane Sjolin, and 2 granddaughters Audrey and Clara Winters.
