Mr. Beutel worked in Research Management at Merck & Co., for 38 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of the Metropolitan Opera Guild, Monmouth Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, the Monmouth Organ Society, and the American Chemical Society. Graduate of Polytechnic University in 1937, and did graduate work at New York University.
