My beautiful "Baby girl" my 'Barbie doll' I always called her this way. In short time we became real friends. I wondered how she, in her 94 years, retained femininity and beauty, despite terrible and endless pains. She was a real Woman Special thanks I'd like to say to her son Gary and his wife Coleen. It was so nice to see such care and patience as they showed to their elderly mother. There were moments when Rose was depressed but then she used to say "You know I'm happy! I have Colleen and Gary ".... Rest in peace my Barbie doll, my beautiful angel, I love you Rose Thompson....

I met Rose when I first moved into Luftman Towers, about 5-1/2 years ago. She was standing in the hall, outside her door, talking with her good friends, animated and so pretty with her blond locks. She made a comment to me, unprintable here, and we both had a good laugh. I was with her at one of the best moments of her life -- when she found those beautiful white sneakers at St. Mary's in Colts Neck Annual Rummage Sale. So happy to have met and known her. I will miss her.
