I’m so sorry for your loss. I knew John for only a few years when I was in civil service working on a defense program. John was intelligent and I throughly enjoyed our conversations. I will pray for his loved ones and for his soul in heaven.

I have known John since I was in middle school. Being the older brother of my best friend Carol, his sister, he treated me as another "siibling" in his family. He playfully teased me like an older brother, protected me like an older brother, and loved me like an older brother. I was blessed to have him in my life and cherish the recent time we shared together. John will be greatly missed on this earth in his human form but will always be with us in his angelic form, watching over and protecting us like the "big brother" he is and always will be.

John - If it wasn’t for you. I wouldn’t be playing Wallyball. Was watching from upstairs. He invited me down. Always was so giving and had such a big heart. So caring and always checking up on you. Gonna miss you! Was a pleasure getting the chance to play along side you for these past few years.

John was a good person and a great friend. John was a true competitor. We had many great matches playing racquetball over the years. I think I even won once. He loved his food, music, travel and being with friends and family. We shared many great meals together, sporting events and shows at Count Basie. Every time we spoke he was either going on a trip or planning his next one. He enjoyed life, and was so looking forward to retiring and doing more traveling. Well my friend, I hope you are at peace and keep exploring. You will truly be missed.
