Obituary of Sherry A. Enea
Sherry Enea, 72, of Marlboro, passed away Saturday evening, with her adoring daughter by her side.
Sherry attended Cairo University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English. She began her 20 plus year career with Mitsubishi Fertilizer, later transferring to the New York City office. She successfully opened their Mical office in Somerset, New Jersey.
Sherry lived in Queens, New York where she met her loving husband of 43 years, Tony (Melchiorre) Enea and they married on June 26, 1976. They later moved to Staten Island, then finally settling in Marlboro where they have lived happily for over 35 years. Together they raised one daughter, Monica.
Sherry was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. Her genuine love for people impacted everyone she met for the better. Every good virtue that one can dream to possess, Sherry had. She enjoyed knitting and would happily knit something for everyone she knew. She was an incredible swimmer and enjoyed time by the water. Sherry projected peacefulness and genuity throughout her life and with everyone she encountered. She was a caring, supportive and loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
Sherry is predeceased by her parents, Kamal and Ezzat Attia and her brother, Onsy Attia. She is survived by her husband, Tony of Marlboro, her daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Patrick Keller of Morganville and her loving granddaughters who were her pride and joy, Ava and Emma; her younger siblings, Bessy Attia and Ash Attia and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Heaven is the lucky one now.
