Marilyn is my Mother.
My Mom was the strongest woman anyone could have ever imagined. The adversity she faced on a daily basis throughout her life would have crumbled most. In spite of that she was also a wonderful, loving mother to me and my brothers Michael and John. The finest wife to my Dad, Joe Sr., who we miss daily. My Mom was happy, and funny, caring, generous, and just plain wonderful. One of my fondest memories of my Mom was many years ago in the 1960's. My brothers and I were just little boys and Mom started singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" a few days before Christmas, each night before bed. We loved this so much she continued even long after Christmas. Actually it went on until April. She never disappointed.
I will miss Mom always. I take comfort knowing she's in Gods loving care and reunited with Dad once again.
