Jo Ann, Sincere condolences on Bob's loss, may he rest in peace. We were "Loyola Class of '60" classmates with many memories of those days together. It was always good to see you and Bob at our reunions. What a full life he shared with his loving family.

I also was a classmate in the 1960 class at Loyola. I was saddened to hear of Bob’s passing and I offer my sincere sympathy. It was a pleasure to read of your happy times in the obituary, and since Bob and I lived across the hall from each other while working at the public health hospital while in dental school, I could probably add a tale or two. My love and prayers to the family.

Dear JoAnn and family,
I can imagine the loss you all feel at Bob's passing. He was always full of joy and life.
I looked forward to seeing you both at the Class of 60 reunion. His smile and spirit lit up the room.
The Class of 60 was special, made so by the wonderful guys who comprised it.
Bob figured mightly in many of the tales that were told by that Class.
His obituary was wonderful. He obviously led a full and meaningful life.
I know he is with the Lord he served so well.
My prayers are with you all.
Ruth Kathmann,(Mrs. Mil Kathmann)

With deep regret at hearing of the passing of Bob, I offer my condolences to his family. He was a gasser, full of fun guy that I enjoyed being with at all times.
Favorite trip was in my '55 olds 88 holiday coupe to Florida to Ft. Lauderdale
(Where the boys are), in 1958, with myself, Esposito, Kathmann & Bobby.
What a 4 day weekend!!! May Bob R.I.P.
"Great Class of '60" mate,
Mike Karam

Bob LaCosta was a great man. I always loved talking to him and spoke to him every chance I could. Bob cared about others and wanted to hear about their lives. He reveled in your stories
and adventures and was happy when you were happy. I also learned much from Bob and enjoyed hearing his view on a wide variety of topics.
My wife and I were blessed when we met Bob and JoAnn.

Bob will be surly missed as an amazing friend, St Andrews Group and fellow practitioner at St Catherine’s. Occasionally I would see home drive through our driveway with one of his collector vehicles and wave. At the church silent retreats you saw his blaming smile all the time. He was truly person of warmth you would always want to be with. We would also be joking around and laughing, I can’t go on writing knowing I won’t see him again. He is with God !

What a beautiful human being! We have known Bob for more than 45 years and never heard him say a negative thing about anyone. We will always remember his wonderful smile and contagious laugh. We met Bob through tennis and other Holmdel activities. Bob, enjoy your tennis game in heaven with George, Dennis, and Hank.
