Obituary of Bernard Leonard Cohen

 

 

Mr. Bernard Leonard Cohen 84, of Aberdeen passed away on Tuesday, April 7th, 2020.  Born in Brooklyn, New York, he lived in Brooklyn for years before moving to California, and Staten Island before  settling in New Jersey. He served his country in the U.S.Army and the United States Marine Corps.

 

Prior to his retirement, Bernard was an entrepreneur owning several businesses including a limousine service with Minuteman in New York. 

 

Bernard was a great fan of sports and cowboy shows.  He loved the N.Y. Mets, and the N.Y. Jets .  He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother,uncle, cousin  and friend.  He loved the time he was able to spend with his family and friends, and he will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of loving and knowing him.

 

Predeceased by his loving wife Helene, he is survived by his daughter Debra Pinto and her husband Mark, his daughter Jill, grandsons Anthony and Christopher Pinto, his sister Sydell Radner and her husband Marty, nephews Todd Radner and his wife Debbie, Kenny Radner and his wife Grace, a great niece Jessica and a great nephew Ben Radner, and great nephews Sam and Macs, and by his friends.

 

Due to the current tragic situation facing our society through the COVID19 virus outbreak, there will be a private service and burial. When all settles with the current situation, there will be a Memorial  Service with Military Honors in recognition of his service  at a date to be announced.
